COTS solutions enable quick innovation...in any platform

Satellite and airborne data continue to provide valuable new sources of information that are providing solutions to complex problems in our world. While on the one hand the abundance of geospatial data is a boon, on the other hand, it can prove problematic if your software solution isn’t up to the processing challenge.
This is where we see opportunities for COTS (commercial off the shelf) software to do some of the heavy lifting for mission-critical users such as disaster planning and response personnel, intelligence production cells, and forward deployed military personnel. COTS solutions provide a basis for deployment of new data sources, processing workflows, and multiple-source integration with minimal cost, risk, and time. Our COTS offering, ENVI, allows users to quickly get results on the desktop, from the cloud, and on mobile devices. Using ENVI, it’s easy to publish advanced image analysis functionality and results to a variety of environments such as ArcGIS Online. This flexibility encourages collaboration and easy distribution of information with other stakeholders and mission partners.
