The Association for Unmanned Vehicle Systems International (AUVSI) conference and exhibit kicked off this week in Orlando, Florida. The exhibit showcases the many types of unmanned vehicles, on-board sensors, software solutions for data collected from the vehicles, and in addition to military operations, new uses for UAV systems such as agriculture, pipelines, disaster response, border protection, and critical infrastructure and event security.
Supporting these missions, Exelis released at the show their new CorvusEye 1500. This is an end-to-end Wide Area Motion Imagery (WAMI) system that enables observation of all activities, including tracking of movement and gathering of critical intelligence over a city-size area.

From a single platform, it can serve 10 independent users with customized region of interest views simultaneously with streaming footage. If you are at AUVSI trade show, stop by booth 1025 and check out the Tour de Turret demonstration – live streaming data from Hyatt Regency Hotel to the Exelis Booth. Jagwire, the Exelis ground PED solution is capturing two of the live streams from CorvusEye. See events as they unfold with real-time streaming and forensic access to the entire mission.
